Stray dogs are not harmful and do not attack though they may be rabid. Rabies may be transmitted by a bite and treatment may be required. You should not interact with animals unless you are sure of their owners and the animal’s condition.

There are plenty of Scorpions and Spiders mostly in the savannah, desert; Snakes also exist in many parts of the country but most are not dangerous. Bites from these are not normally dangerous except for certain snake species.

Grazes and cuts should be immediately treated and sanitized with antiseptic to prevent any potential infection.
